Dead Island Locations

The Banoi High-security Prison also known as Banoi Prison is an area in Dead Island. The locals nickname the prison "hell in heaven".[1] The final act, Act IV takes place here and on The Roof.

Most of the prisoners and guards have been killed in the outbreak, though a small number of guards have managed to stay alive, although they are hostile and open-fire upon seeing the hero.

Even more prisoners have survived and congregate in the cafeteria and the surrounding corridors. However, eventually they carry out a riot against Titus Kabui, one of the well-known prisoners. The screaming and yelling of the riot has attracted the zombies to the prisoners' location and everyone is killed, save for Jin and Yerema, due to Mowen's unselfish actions.

Eventually, Ryder White is confronted by Purna, Xian Mei, Sam B, and Logan, as well as Yerema, Jin, and Kevin, a surviving prisoner. During this time, the infected Emily White bites Ryder after being unleashed from her constraints by Jin. In response, Ryder shoots and kills Jin, before mutating into a very strong Infected. After Ryder is killed, the four heroes, along with Yerema and Kevin, are able to take his helicopter and escape the island.
